Services along the Kingsroad

We can offer you a stay in our small log cabin at our mountain dairy farm at Helin, a few kilometers from our main farm.

On the mountain dairy farm we have a log cabin were you can stay for a night or two or as long as you like. The cottage is charming, with high ceilings and lot's of charm.

We are spending six weeks every summer ourselves in this dairy farm. Around us are sheeps, cattle and horses. Taking part in milking of the animals is a nice experience for both kids and grown ups. For many, a stay in a mountain dairy farm is like a journey back in time, a place where time goes a little slower.

There are many activities and tour opportunities in the area.

From late summer 2020 you can also stay in Olavstøga, a two-storey log house from the 1840s. Olavstøga have a warm and old-fashioned atmosphere.

Olavstøga is located on our main farm, the Sørre Ellingbø, straight up from the Vang church, with a view of the lake Vangsmjøse and the mountains surrounding Vang.
