Welcome to the largest of the three open air markets in Lærdal; the summer market with approximately 15 000 visitors in Lærdal's beautiful old town.

During the summer market, the social meetings between people, entertainment and trade goes hand in hand. The market offers up to 100 market stalls with a very wide selection of offers.

The Lærdal market started in the medieval age, and was mentioned for the first time in 1596. It's  the oldest open air market in Norway that is still in operation.

Mark off the third weekend in June for this historic outdoor market in the old town of Lærdalsøyri.
