About Kyrkjestølen

Kyrkjestølen, an old mountain dairy farm, lies in an old cultural landscape just off St. Tomas church at E16 on Filefjell.

We have accommodation for 26 guests.

Café with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We are a cosy place with a fire place and a small mountain library. Bring a sleeping bag, or you can rent bed linen from us. Shower and drying room. Competitive prices.

We hold small events now and then, like exhibition of mountain photos. At our place you will find different board games and maybe new hiking friends.

We have a terrace overlooking the King's Road. Do you want to loan our binoculars and look for reindeers?

We are located close to the King's Road and the E16, easily accessible by car or bus.

T-marked paths goes from Kyrkjestølen to Sletningbu and Sulebu. The church of St. Thomas is here, open daily in July and August the 12th. Masses on Sundays.
