Join a local guide over legendary Kvamskleive and down to Kvam, the former sheriff's farm which the master thief Gjest Baardsen learned to know too well.

Hear about «dangerous journeys» on the King's Road and what travelers called «the abyss» when they pulled horses and carts over here in the 19th century.

Road history, local history, flora and fauna - and magnificent views over Vang and lake Vangsmjøse.

And join us down to the yard of the 19th-century Kvam farm, where the master thief Gjest Baardsen often had to spend the night on his way to punishment and slavery at Akershus fortress in Oslo.
